A very dense hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin is injected deeply through several millimeter incisions. The quantities injected depend on each case but they must be large to obtain a visible result. Unlike fat injections, injections of hyaluronic acid in the buttocks take place in the consultation room. This is therefore the easiest method to increase the volume of the buttocks. On the other hand, due to the absorbable nature of hyaluronic acid, the sessions must be repeated approximately every 24 months in order to maintain a stable result. If the injections are not repeated, the buttocks return to their former condition, without any after-effects.
