The placement of buttocks prostheses is intended for patients who do not have sufficient fat reserves to perform lipomodelling and who wish to benefit from a lasting result in a single operation. The implants used are specially designed for buttock augmentation. They are pre-filled with a silicone gel that is more cohesive (firmer) than that of breast prostheses. The casing is also stronger. The risk of rupture is therefore very low in the absence of extremely violent trauma.
