Stellite-type devices are the ultimate in removable devices. They are still carried out a lot nowadays in our dental offices. For this type of appliance, the teeth are based on resin fixed to a metal structure. The metal of these devices is made in a chromium-cobalt alloy. The impression of the metal base plate is made by means of an individual PEI impression tray made by the prosthesis laboratory especially for the patient.
