- Phototherapy by UVA, UVB or sun exposure. - Local treatment with coticoides, vitamin A .. - Surgical treatment: Melanocyte grafts are used in particular on localized or stable segmental vitiligo. They involve transplanting normal melanocytes taken from areas of healthy skin into the epidermis previously abraded by vitiligo plaques. This technique cannot be done in a town hall. - Laser treatment: In case of extensive or universal vitiligo affecting almost all of the skin, depigmentation with Q-switched lasers, such as used for tattoo removal, may be offered for areas of skin that are still pigmented.
