The recto-sigmoidoscopy (also called short colonoscopy) is an examination of the walls of the rectum and the terminal part of the colon (sigmoid) with a flexible tube, equipped with a light source, which also allows samples to be taken.
For a quality exam, you will be asked to do 2 to 3 enemas vaginally at home before taking the exam.
