Cleft lip and palate (FLP) is a fissure-like embryopathy that affects the upper lip, nasal threshold, alveolar arch, bony palate, and muscular soft palate. The congenital malformation associates to varying degrees a cleft lip-alveolar (FLA) and a cleft velo-palatine (FVP). Antenatal diagnosis is often made during morphological ultrasound. The management is multidisciplinary medico-surgical from birth until the end of growth. It involves primary and secondary surgery (maxillofacial and plastic).
