This act consists of:
- Either an Ovariotomy (Surgical intervention consisting in removing all or, more often, part (generally a cyst) of the ovaries) for evacuation of collection from the ovary, by laparoscopy or by abdominal surgery (laparotomy).
- Either a Salpingotomy (the opening of a fallopian tube) for evacuation of collection from the tube, by laparoscopy or by abdominal surgery (laparotomy).
