Therapeutic or operative hysteroscopy is indicated for gynecological procedures such as the removal of a uterine
fibroid, treatment of uterine synechia, treatment of uterine septum, endometrectomy, removal of a submucosal myoma.
It is used to treat abnormalities found in the uterine cavity such as certain polyps,
an IUD welded to the wall or abnormalities of a blood vessel.
