The hühner test, also called post-coital test, is one of the examinations offered in women as part of the infertility assessment. This test involves taking cervical mucus (within hours of having sex). Thus, the objective of the hühner test is to ensure the quality of the cervical mucus of the woman as well as the presence and the mobility of the sperm of the man in it. This makes it possible to study the mucus - sperm interaction and to look for abnormalities (such as insufficient mucus and / or sperm, suspected immunological abnormalities in the presence of normal mucus and sperm).
