Orthokeratology or corneal remodeling is the elimination or reduction temporary myopia by the adaptation of a rigid lens of special shape, having a radius flatter than that of the cornea. Orthokeratology lenses are wear 6 to 8 hours at night and come off the morning. They reshape the cornea during sleep, which allows a good stable vision during the day, without having to wear glasses or contact lenses, thus releasing patients with wearing problems diurnal (drought, dust, sport aquatic, risk of loss).
