It is mainly used for: - Consolidate peripheral retinal lesions predisposing to retinal detachment (palisades, retinal tears, retinal holes). - Treat ischemic areas occurring after thrombosis of the central retinal vein to prevent neovascular glaucoma. - Treat the ischemic areas of diabetic retinopathy to avoid complications of proliferative retinopathy. - It can be used in case of pigmentary open-angle glaucoma at the angle and the trabeculum (trabeculoplasty).
