The orthopedic technique consists of replacing by hand, by external manipulation, the fractured bone fragments or the dislocated joint. Depending on the case, the reduction is performed without anesthesia (dislocation) or under locoregional or general anesthesia (fracture). Once the reduction is obtained, the limb is firmly immobilized (bandage, plaster, external fixator) until consolidation.
