Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Posturography is the technique used to quantify control of posture in an upright position in static or dynamic conditions. Among them, computerized dynamic posturography (CDP), also called balance test (TOB), is a specialized non-invasive clinical assessment technique used to quantify central nervous system adaptive mechanisms (sensory, motor and central) involved in the control of posture and balance, both under normal conditions (such as in physical education and sports training) and abnormal conditions (particularly in the diagnosis of balance disorders and physiotherapy and postural rehabilitation).
