Hysterosalpingography studies the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes that are not visible on standard x-rays. This examination is very useful in the assessments of infertility, repetitive infections, genital bleeding, pain ... It looks for anomalies such as a tumor, a fibroid or a narrowing of the genital tract. This exam uses x-rays and an iodine-based contrast medium.
