Mammography is an x-ray examination that detects an abnormality in breast tissue, including breast cancer, even small. This screening exam is a surveillance exam, which should be performed even if there are no symptoms.

Every woman can develop breast cancer, even without a family predisposition; indeed, age (between 50 and 74 years) is a risk factor in itself. From the age of 50, even if you are in good health, it is therefore recommended to have a screening mammogram every two years.
