Bladder lithiasis refers to the disease related to the formation of stones in the bladder. These stones, which can reach several centimeters, are formed from aggregates of various mineral (calcium, phosphates, magnesium, etc.) and organic substances. Most often these stones form due to poor bladder emptying, due to a subbladder obstruction or a bladder dysfunction of neurological or non-neurological origin. The largest stones require surgical opening of the bladder. In the other situations, the treatment will take place by natural means by fragmenting the calculation mechanically or by laser.
