Endoscopic resection of prostate adenoma by laser vaporization

The prostate is a gland located under the bladder. To exit the bladder, urine must pass through the prostate, through the urethral canal. The enlarged prostate, prostatic adenoma or benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) is a pathology of the central part of the prostate. It may result in the gradual appearance of discomfort when evacuating the bladder or frequent urges to urinate and other complications (lithiasis, hematuria, urine retention, etc.). Laser vaporization does not remove the entire prostate, only the central part of the obstruction.
