Surgery for gastroesophageal reflux disease and hiatus hernia

This pathology is extremely frequent and manifests itself either by digestive disorders such as burns and acidity rise or by a high pathology known as ENT made up of pharyngitis, sinusitis, rhinitis, conjunctivitis. Gastroesophageal reflux syndromes can respond very well to a well-conducted medical treatment instituted after a complete assessment by a gastroenterologist. The gastroesophageal reflux syndromes which require surgery mainly concern young subjects reacting well to the medical treatment on which they are totally dependent, whereby the results of the surgery can lead to a complete disappearance of the symptoms. With regard to ENT reflux, the indications are more difficult to establish and must be preceded by a complete allergological, pHmetric and manometric assessment.
