there are several techniques for removing tonsils. CO2 laser ablation is particularly effective in adults. It consists in vaporizing the tonsil tissue without touching what surrounds it, namely the pillars and the capsule. These are the pillars and the capsule that contain the sensitive nerve branches. As a result, the intervention is much less painful than the conventional technique. The blood vessels that supply the tonsils are also more distant. There is therefore very little risk of bleeding.
