It is a neck mass identified as a vascular or nerve tumor. It is a tumor, usually located at the level of the division of the carotid artery or on the pneumogastric nerve which among other functions controls the swallowing movements and the movements of the vocal cord. The purpose of the intervention is to remove the tumor. The ablation of this tumor, except particular contraindication, is necessary for two reasons: - in a small percentage of cases, the evolution of this tumor can be done in a cancerous mode and no examination makes it possible to predict the risk of this evolution - the increase in volume of this tumor which can be slow or fast is inexorable. However, the larger the tumor, the more difficult it will be to remove and the source of sometimes very disabling sequelae.
