This imaging technique visualizes the entire spine from the skull to the proximal part of the femurs. Teleradiography makes it possible to detect the presence of an abnormality in the statics of the spine, such as scoliosis for example, and to judge its evolution. Depending on the indications, frontal teleradiography may be supplemented by lateral imaging in search of more complex or associated abnormalities.
