In hair transplantation, PRP is used to boost healing and regrowth. The healing and regrowth agents contained in the platelets are released in order to minimize the trauma of the graft for the grafts and accelerate the healing of the areas of the samples. In the donor area, PRP reduces the healing time of samples by approximately 30 to 50%, whether in the FUE or FUT procedure. In the recipient area, PRP is injected into the implantation areas to reduce graft trauma and stimulate the follicle growth phase (anagen phase). By stimulating the growth phase with PRP, a higher percentage of grafts are obtained which directly continue their growth phase. This allows the patient to benefit from his hair transplant earlier.
