Maxillofacial Surgeon

Maxillo-mandibular dysmorphosis is defined as a bad proportion or position between the maxillary and mandibular bone structures. The functional consequence of these dysmorphoses is the malocclusion sometimes corrected by dento-alveolar compensations. Other disharmonies can be associated:
- Dento-maxillary disharmony: insufficient or excess space for the alignment of the teeth.
- Dento-dental disharmonies: bad proportions between the teeth.
