Laser treatment of redness (erythrosis / Couperosis)

Dermatologist

Erythrosis (diffuse redness) and rosacea (marked redness with visibility of small vessels) are unsightly and disabling conditions. This redness is often accompanied by flushing (hot flashes). These rashes generally occur in women who have long blushed for a yes or a no after an emotion (modest erythema) or in individuals who have familial predispositions or frequently redden due to repeated sun exposure, taking alcohol or who work outside. Several types of intense and pulsed lasers and lamps are available to treat redness. The pulsed dye laser (V beam candela) is one of the reference treatments, the KTP laser also gives interesting results, as well as intense and pulsed lamps. Pulsed dye laser (585nm) - this is the standard treatment It takes 2 to 6 treatment sessions to achieve an improvement of 60 to 80%. The treatment is a little painful, but in general very bearable.
